APPALACHIAN TRAIL - MA - SLACKPACKING - DAY 1

Tulsa to Charlotte NC. On the flight from Tulsa , I sat by an older couple from Norway. They held hands and were so sweet to each other. They pulled a delicious picnic from their carryon. It was a snug plane, the sky was beautiful. I enjoyed cloud watching.

When I arrived in North Carolina (the Queen City) I ate way too much Panda Express and a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory apple. I found comfy rocking chair, people watched and listened to podcasts. I also downloaded an audiobook fitting for my trip. I am going to try and also finish book club book on this trip. I had plenty to keep me entertained. I was supposed to fly out of Charlotte NC at 11 pm to Albany NY, but ended up flying out at 12:33 am.
